Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Nayers Law is committed to making its website and legal information usable by people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing part of design, development, content review, and maintenance—not a one-time certification or a single software feature.

We welcome feedback and will make reasonable efforts to provide information or assistance through an alternative method when a website barrier prevents access.

2. Accessibility target

The website is designed toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG provides widely used technical guidance organized around content that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

This statement describes a target and ongoing process; it is not a claim that every page, file, embed, or third-party service has been independently audited or fully conforms in every configuration. The firm will review its obligations and update this statement as the website and applicable guidance change.

3. Accessibility features in this website

The current design includes:

• semantic headings, landmarks, lists, links, buttons, and form labels;
• a keyboard-accessible “Skip to content” link and visible keyboard focus;
• responsive layouts that support zoom and different screen sizes;
• text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative treatment that does not carry essential information;
• color and type choices intended to support readable contrast;
• reduced-motion behavior for visitors who request it; and
• clear link text, page titles, navigation labels, and validation guidance.

A first-party accessibility panel provides visitor-controlled text sizing, contrast, grayscale, readable-font, link-highlighting, text-spacing, and reduced-motion options. Preferences are stored locally in the visitor’s browser. These display controls supplement—not replace—accessible source code, content, testing, and remediation.

4. Testing and ongoing improvement

The website should be reviewed with a combination of automated checks and manual testing, including keyboard navigation, zoom and reflow, focus order, headings and landmarks, form controls, alternative text, contrast, reduced motion, and representative screen-reader use. Automated tools alone cannot identify every barrier.

New and revised content should be checked before publication. Identified issues should be prioritized based on their impact, with critical barriers addressed as promptly as reasonably possible. A full pre-launch audit and periodic follow-up reviews are recommended.

5. Third-party content and documents

Some embedded videos, maps, social content, linked websites, or downloadable documents may be created or controlled by third parties. Their accessibility may vary, and the firm may not be able to change their underlying technology.

The firm will make reasonable efforts to select accessible services, provide meaningful labels and context, add captions or transcripts when it controls the content, and offer an alternative when a known third-party barrier prevents access to firm information.

6. Feedback, accommodations, and alternative access

If you encounter a barrier or need information in another format, call 212-307-0023. Please identify the page or feature, describe the problem, and tell us the best way to respond. Do not include confidential case details in an accessibility report.

The firm will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge the request, investigate the issue, provide the information through an accessible alternative when feasible, and remediate barriers within its control. Calling about an accessibility issue does not create an attorney-client relationship.

7. Browser and assistive-technology compatibility

The website is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and commonly used assistive technologies on supported operating systems. Older, unsupported, or highly customized software may behave differently. For the best experience, use current browser and assistive-technology releases and enable standard web features such as styles and JavaScript where appropriate.

This statement will be reviewed as the site changes and after accessibility feedback, testing, or material platform updates.
